Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management has expanded its Sustainable Equity strategy with the appointment of Huub van der Riet as Senior Portfolio Manager starting on October 1st and Chong Peng as Portfolio Manager from September 15th.

These appointments demonstrate the firm’s commitment to its investment strategy, which focuses on investing in high-quality companies that are actively working towards a sustainable economy.
Huub van der Riet brings 28 years of experience in the financial sector, with the last 23 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (formerly NNIP and ING IM). He played a key role in developing NNIP’s impact strategies and served as the lead portfolio manager for impact strategies over the past seven years. He began his career at ABN Amro and Aegon.
Chong Peng joins from APG Asset Management, where she advanced from a traineeship to become the Portfolio Manager of the Focus Equity Strategy. This strategy is concentrated on long-term investments with a strong emphasis on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors.
Ivo Kuiper, Head of the Sustainable Equity strategy, expressed his delight in welcoming Huub and Chong to the team.
