Pacific Asset Management hires Mary Murphy as the global institutional sales head

Pacific Asset Management (PAM) has announced the appointment of Mary Murphy as the Global Head of Institutional Sales, based in the company’s London office. Murphy will report to Chief Executive Matthew Lamb and will join PAM as a Partner and member of the Executive Committee.

Previously, Murphy held the position of Head of Global Consultant Relations at GAM, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s Global Consultant Relations strategy. Prior to that, she served as Head of UK Investment Consultant Strategy, Global Consultant Relations (EMEA) at BlackRock. She has also worked at Deutsche Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors Ireland Ltd (previously Bank of Ireland Asset Management Limited). 

Matthew Lamb, CEO of Pacific Asset Management, expressed his admiration for Murphy’s skill and professionalism, highlighting the company’s institutional client base as the fastest-growing area of the business: He remarked: “I have known Mary for many years and admired the skill and professionalism she brings to all her roles.
