Columbia Threadneedle CEO Nick Ring to retire
Nick Ring, the CEO for EMEA at Columbia Threadneedle, is set to retire at the end of 2023 after a career spanning 34 years in the industry. David Logan, currently the global Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Columbia Threadneedle, will take over as the new head of EMEA and global business operations.
Nick Ring, the CEO for EMEA at Columbia Threadneedle, is set to retire at the end of 2023 after a career spanning 34 years in the industry. David Logan, currently the global Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Columbia Threadneedle, will take over as the new head of EMEA and global business operations.
Logan, who has over 17 years of experience in asset management, previously held positions at F&C Asset Management and BMO Global Asset Management.
The transition to the new leadership structure will occur over the next six months, ensuring a smooth handover. Columbia Threadneedle expressed gratitude to Ring for his significant contributions and expressed confidence in Logan’s strategic thinking and leadership abilities to further strengthen the firm’s presence in the EMEA region.
