BNY Mellon names Cécile Nagel as global head of corporate trust

BNY Mellon has announced the appointment of Cécile Nagel as the global head of corporate trust, effective from October 1st. She will succeed James Slater and will report to Roman Regelman, the senior executive vice president and global head of securities services and digital.  

BNY Mellon has announced the appointment of Cécile Nagel as the global head of corporate trust, effective from October 1st. She will succeed James Slater and will report to Roman Regelman, the senior executive vice president and global head of securities services and digital. 

Nagel, with over 20 years of industry experience, currently leads BNY Mellon’s Pershing business in EMEA. Dennis Wallestad is set to assume her current role in October, pending regulatory approval. Nagel’s extensive background includes roles such as CEO of EuroCCP and a tenure at the London Stock Exchange Group.
