Artemis global hires Alex Stanic head of global equities

Artemis global has hired Alex Stanic as head of global equities. In this newly-created position, he will replace the outgoing Simon Edelsten, who will retired at the end of 2023.

Artemis global has hired Alex Stanic as head of global equities. In this newly-created position, he will replace the outgoing Simon Edelsten, who will retired at the end of 2023. Edelsten currently manages the Mid Wynd International Investment Trust and the open-ended Artemis Global Select and Artemis Funds (Lux) Global Select funds.

Stanic worked with JP Morgan for seven years, serving as team leader for the global specialized team’s global equities funds, including the Global Unconstrained Equity Fund. Prior to that, he headed the global equities section at River & Mercantile, which he founded in 2009.
